My first real, non-writing-related post is up on Substack.
"Beggars in Spain" discusses one of the philosophical underpinnings of the novel Beggars in Spain by Nancy Kress. The Substack post (article?) is specifically about the tension between self-responsibility and social responsibility.
If you enjoy posts of that nature, please subscribe to my Substack. Doing so will allow all of my posts to be delivered directly to your inbox for free, including announcements for new releases, etc.
I don't plan on charging for any Substack posts unless I decide to serialize a novel. That would be down the road a bit. I'll give readers plenty of notice and it would likely be an "early look" kind of thing, rather than the only method of publication. So, for example, I might serialize a novel on Substack, granting paid subscribers early access to it, and then later publish the complete novel on Amazon.
If you'd like to receive an announcements-only newsletter, subscribe here and I'll send you a notice of new releases, sales, giveaways, and so on.
It isn't necessary to subscribe to both. Choose the option that's best for you, or follow me here if you'd rather. Whatever works for you!
