NALEVO
JUPITER SKYE, BOOK 2
Jupiter Skye just wants to make an honest living. Mostly honest, anyway.
After a disastrous encounter with the High Guard nearly destroyed her livelihood, Jupiter is finally getting her life back on track. Her cargo-hauling business is recovering, her debts are shrinking, and she's determined to stay out of trouble.
Then Nigel Stansberry comes calling.
The job? Transport an experimental faster-than-light drive that could break the Ochlos Council's stranglehold on interstellar travel. The catch? Jupiter doesn't have a choice. Nigel has already signed the contract for her, and the man sent to enforce it is Rif, a deadly assassin with a talent for getting under her skin.
As if that weren't bad enough, the head of the Ochlos Council has taken a personal interest in Jupiter. And when the priceless prototype disappears, a simple delivery turns into a desperate hunt through a web of political intrigue, criminal interests, and dangerous secrets.
With enemies closing in, an assassin she can't trust at her side, and her ship and freedom on the line, Jupiter has one hell of a problem.
Somebody stole the wrong girl's cargo.
